Micro Niche Finder is an excellent program. Its purpose is to find niches that will hopefully rank in Google.
Its getting harder to find good long tailed keywords. One can still use the free Google keyword tool of course to find good keywords, but Micro Niche finder makes it easier, and goes a couple of steps further.
The Google keyword tool does suggest some long tailed keywords when you search, but not that many. Most of the keywords it finds are very competitive. This means that it will be hard to find keywords that will get you the front page of Google. Once you have some keywords, the usual method is to put these keywords one by one back into the Google keyword tool in quotes. This gives you an idea of how much competition you will have to rank for these words.
Micro Niche Finder starts by bringing up many more long tailed keywords. The interface resembles a spreadsheet, and all the information you need is neatly laid out in a straight line. You can find a good long tailed keyword and see immediately the phrase match, which is the identical information you get from Google by putting it in quotes. At the very end of the line, you will see SOC, or Strength Of Competition. Here you will see a colored icon that immediately tells you how good your keyword is. The colors are green for good of course, orange for medium, and red for no stinking way. If one of your keywords is showing a good number of searches and the phrase is uner 50,000, and the SOC is green, you probably have a winner. This is a keyword that should end up on the front page of Google.
Micro Niche Finder doesnt stop there. It allows you to dig deeper into your keyword bringing out even more good keywords. It also lets you search Clickbank to see if there is a product to match the keyword. You can find a good keyword, and then see if there is a product you can sell with that keyword. The newest version also allows you to search and see if a domain is available for that keyword. There are many other functions of this valuable tool.
